Governo reduz taxas de licença de pesca de atum à frota estrangeira
Em causa está o diploma ministerial n.º 100/2023, que actualiza as taxas de licença de pesca da pesca de atum aplicáveis à frota nacional com porto base no estrangeiro e à frota estrangeira com porto base no estrangeiro que opera nas águas jurisdicionais de Moçambique, de 25 de Julho, que altera o diploma n.º 60/2018, de 01 de Outubro.
De acordo com a agência Lusa, no diploma dos ministérios do Mar, Águas Interiores e Pescas e da Economia e Finanças, as taxas anuais a pagar por cada embarcação de pesca de frota estrangeira na pescaria de atum sofrem um corte em todas as artes.
As taxas de pesca de cerco por embarcações com porto nacional caem 55%, para 4,038 milhões de meticais, face ao anteriormente em vigor, e das embarcações com porto estrangeiro descem 41%, para sete milhões de meticais.
Na pesca de palangre (tipo de pesca à linha), as embarcações de frotas estrangeira com porto nacional caem 77%, para 1,489 milhões de meticais, e as de porto estrangeiro descem 62,5%, para 3,150 milhões de meticais.
