O Access Bank Mozambique lançou, recentemente, a 2ª edição do concurso ‘Womenpreneur Pitch-a-ton Moçambique 2022’, destinado à capacitação de mulheres empresárias e empreendedoras. O objectivo é dotar estas mulheres de mais e melhores competências financeiras e empresariais, para que suas organizações se possam desenvolver de forma sustentável.
Para a edição deste ano, são elegíveis mulheres moçambicanas de todos os sectores de actividade empresarial, entre os 18 e 55 anos, que tenham uma empresa em funcionamento, devidamente registada há pelo menos um ano, ou que detenham 20% das acções de uma empresa que opere no mesmo período.
Inserido no projecto ‘W Initiative’, o concurso, que aposta no empoderamento feminino, vai-se prolongar até ao próximo mês de Setembro e terá como foco principal a difusão de um programa de formação, que consiste em secções de workshops dirigidos às candidatas, envolvendo módulos associados ao empreendedorismo, finanças, liderança, gestão, e marketing digital.
Virgínia Muxlhanga, representante do Access Bank, explicou que, para se candidatarem, as concorrentes deverão, até ao dia 15 de Setembro corrente, preencher um formulário de registo, disponível no website ou nas redes sociais do banco.
“O programa compreende três fases, sendo a primeira a de recepção e selecção das top 150. Na fase dois solicitaremos às empresas o envio de vídeos descritivos das suas organizações e iremos seleccionar os 30 melhores projectos. Por fim, na terceira fase, entregaremos certificados às 30 empresas finalistas e iremos premiar um top 3, com subsídios financeiros”, disse Virginia Muxlhanga.
Na primeira edição, tida como um grande sucesso onde participaram mulheres de todo o país, que tiveram a oportunidade de experimentar um programa exclusivo e certificado de capacitação e ter acesso a coaching empresarial.
O Programa ‘Womenpreneur Pitch-a-ton’ é a primeira iniciativa do género de apoio às mulheres de negócios no sector bancário. Foi concebido para proporcionar às empresas lideradas por mulheres em toda a África uma oportunidade de acesso ao financiamento e formação empresarial de classe mundial, actuando nas áreas de financiamento, desenvolvimento de capacidades e criação de oportunidades de trabalho em rede para as candidatas.
Desde que iniciou a actividade em Moçambique, o Access Bank tem sido um dos principais defensores do empoderamento económico feminino, através do programa ‘W Initiative’.
