Assim, a expressão da nova identidade corporativa representa a missão da empresa de continuidade e de evolução. A mesma adopta a cor azul do planeta e o seu design foi inspirado nas fórmulas dos hidrocarbonetos. O seu novo símbolo circular representa a abrangência global da actividade da ENH, a responsabilidade com o planeta e assinala a sua presença de Moçambique para África e de África para o Mundo. Por outro lado, a nova marca da ENH pretende ser um motivo de orgulho para Moçambique e uma inspiração para o mundo.
Comentando sobre essa mudança, o Presidente do Conselho de Administração da ENH, Estêvão Pale, disse que “o mundo está a viver uma fase de transição energética justa. A ENH se posiciona para responder aos desafios dessa evolução, através do fornecimento de uma fonte de energia mais limpa e segura para desta forma contribuir para a industrialização e criação da prosperidade não só para o País, mas também para a região e o mundo”.
De referir que a anterior identidade corporativa da ENH foi adoptada aquando da criação da empresa, em Outubro de 1981, e durante a sua existência, nunca chegou a sofrer alterações de fundo, se não aquando da anterior designação Hidrocarbonetos de Moçambique para a actual Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos, em 1997.
