Xiquitsi promove segunda Temporada de Música Clássica com o apoio do Absa Bank Moçambique
O Projecto Xiquitsi traz, nos dias 15 e 16 de Julho, a segunda série da Temporada de Música Clássica Xiquitsi, com o apoio do Absa Bank Moçambique. Uma iniciativa que visa apoiar o desenvolvimento da cultura através da música clássica, proporcionando oportunidades além-fronteiras através de bolsas de estudo às crianças e adolescentes em situação de vulnerabilidade social.
O projecto Xiquitsi confere formação em instrumentos musicais de corda, sopro, repercussão e voz, onde diferentes géneros musicais se juntam, permitindo, deste modo exaltar a transversalidade da iniciativa de inserção social, onde através de concertos, o Xiquitsi apresenta o resultado do trabalho realizado pela orquestra posicionando os alunos a praticarem em palco.
Com esta parceria, o Absa Bank Moçambique reforça o seu compromisso na promoção da arte, cultura e na educação, no que se refere ao desenvolvimento de competências através da promoção do talento nacional, como um dos objectivos estratégicos de cidadania, reforçando o Desenvolvimento na Educação, um dos objectivos do Pacto Global das Nações Unidas, do qual o Banco é signatário.
Referir que o projecto Xiquitsi é uma Orquestra Clássica de destaque em Moçambique, que representa uma possibilidade de mudança na vida de crianças e adolescentes que, através da prática colectiva de música, adquirem ferramentas essenciais para o desenvolvimento pleno das suas capacidades.
