Parruque apela a mais de um milhão de mulheres a apostar na educação da família e da sociedade
A Província de Maputo celebrou, na passada terça-feira, 08 de Março de 2022, o Dia Internacional da Mulher num clima de festa tendo juntado as delegações das mulheres dos 8 Distritos. A efeméride foi dirigida por Júlio Parruque, Governador da Província de Maputo, acompanhado pela sua Esposa, Naidy Parruque.
Parruque disse que a celebração ganhou significativo sentido por decorrer após dois eventos importantes para a província e para o país todo: a eleição da Secretária Provincial da OMM de Maputo e a passagem do 55º aniversário do destacamento feminino.
O Governante destacou o papel impulsionador da mulher no desenvolvimento do país e da província, classificando-a como o tentáculo angular e fundamental e esperança viva da construção de um Moçambique melhor. Por isso felicitou-as por demonstrarem o seu potencial visualizado pelos cargos de chefia e confiança que ocupam na província em 50%.
Júlio Parruque referiu que a data era o marco histórico da luta pela liberdade e igualdade de direitos. Face ao terrorismo em Cabo-Delgado exortou à vigilância a qualquer ameaça bem com ao consumo generalizado das drogas pela juventude. “Hoje, o mundo inteiro curva-se a todas mulheres em reconhecimento dos seus feitos e contributo pelo desenvolvimento e progresso de todas as nações” – Acrescentou.
O Governador de Maputo recomendou as cerca de 1.193.163 mulheres da Província de Maputo para que continuem a educar a sociedade. Encorajando-as para que continuem liderando na linha da frente na prevenção e combate ao COVID-19, na luta contra o terrorismo em Cabo Delgado, na luta contra a fome e a pobreza produzindo cada vez mais.
