A Empresa de Comercialização Agrícola Lda (ECA) e a Nova Tech Agro, duas empresas do ramo agrário sediadas na província de Manica lançam esta sexta-feira no distrito de Barué, duas lojas especializadas em insumos agrícolas com vista a melhorar o acesso a insumos e material agrícola por parte dos pequenos produtores.
Nos últimos anos, tem havido um crescimento acentuado do investimento em Moçambique, especialmente no crescimento do mercado, no aumento da produção e na melhoria da posição dos agricultores no mercado. No entanto, apesar dos investimentos relativamente altos no setor, o acesso dos pequenos agricultores aos insumos tem sido lento.
Os pequenos agricultores ainda enfrentam vários desafios tais como, o difícil acesso a lojas, sendo que alguns agricultores percorrem mais de 50 quilômetros até a loja mais próxima; o aumento da demanda de agricultores que desejam insumos serviços mais confiáveis e eficientes onde há uma crescente necessidade de novos pontos de venda que forneçam os produtos certos, ofereçam preços competitivos e estendam os serviços de extensão.
Neste contexto foi estabelecida uma parceria entre a ECA (uma empresa especializada na compra de milho, processamento e marketing de produtos secundários de milho processado) e a Nova tech Agro (especializada na distribuição e venda de insumos agrícolas e provisão de serviços de extensão).
De realçar que esta sociedade tem como objectivo valorizar mais o pequeno produtor, trazendo-lhe os insumos para mais perto de si, oferecendo um serviço mais orientado para o consumidor onde para além da venda de insumos variados serão criados serviços de orientação agrária que contribuem para o sucesso da produção e o reconhecimento do uso de insumos melhorados e boas práticas agrícolas.
