Os canais digitais tornaram-se, mais do que nunca, imprescindíveis na vida dos utentes financeiros. Com a propagação do novo coronavírus no País, o Absa Bank Moçambique readaptou-se e começou a aconselhar a utilização da app e do homebanking enquanto as restrições e as regras de distanciamento social estiverem em vigor. Há alguns anos que estas ferramentas são uma forma de o banco manter a proximidade aos clientes, mas a crise pandémica aguçou essa necessidade, à medida que muitos Moçambicanos evitam recorrer às agências e aos ATM com receios de contágio.
Com vista a flexibilizar as formas de adesão dos particulares a estes canais, o Absa Bank Moçambique permite que a adesão possa ser feita remotamente, através da Linha do Cliente e procurou alargar a oferta digital para responder rapidamente a este contexto passando a permitir aos clientes efectuar o pagamento de serviços e transferências entre contas Absa, sem custos.
Entre os principais serviços disponíveis nos canais digitais do Banco, destaque para a disponibilidade de extractos bancários, compra de recargas, pagamento de TV (DStv, GOtv e TV Cabo), compra de Credelec e transferências para Carteiras móveis (M-Pesa e E-Mola).
Segundo Pedro Carvalho, Director da Banca de Retalho e Negócios do Absa Bank Moçambique, “neste momento em que o risco de propagação da Covid-19 é considerado elevado, recomendamos que os clientes se desloquem às agências apenas em caso de absoluta necessidade, devendo privilegiar sempre a utilização dos canais digitais, nomeadamente a app e o site. Caso não tenham os códigos de acesso aos canais digitais, poderão obtê-los de imediato no site ou contactando a Linha do Cliente”, destaca.
O Banco respondeu e continua a responder de forma positiva à situação de distanciamento criada pela pandemia e por isso será expectável que muitos dos processos de digitalização amadureçam e perdurem após este período. Como resultado, os clientes acabarão por ter serviços mais inovadores e mais próximos.
