O Millennium bim acaba de ser distinguido com o Prémio ‘Serviços Bancários Mais Inovadores – Moçambique 2020’, atribuído pelo jornal Capital Finance International (CFI), com sede em Londres. É a primeira vez que o Banco é distinguido por aquele conceituado media internacional que reconhece “o lugar de destaque que o Millennium bim ocupou nas últimas décadas”, em Moçambique.
No ano em que celebra o seu 25º aniversário, o Banco continua a ser premiado ao mais alto nível, tendo já recebido mais de 100 distinções ao longo destes anos de trabalho.
A aposta na digitalização e o investimento que o Banco tem feito nas novas tecnologias e na captação de talento, contribuindo para um sistema financeiro robusto e seguro, foram os principais factores tidos em conta na atribuição do Prémio ‘Serviços Bancários Mais Inovadores – Moçambique 2020’.
Segundo o júri do galardão, “o Millennium bim evoluiu para um banco verdadeiramente universal com uma forte identidade nacional”, destacando o facto de ter mais de “200 agências bancárias e cerca de 350 agentes distribuídos estrategicamente pelas províncias, com especial atenção para as áreas remotas com o objectivo de aumentar a inclusão financeira”.
Ainda na perspectiva dos jurados, “a plataforma bancária móvel do bim é uma ferramenta poderosa, registando cerca de 10 milhões de transações por mês, com os clientes a poderem ter acesso à informação e a fazerem transações usando aplicativos das redes sociais, como o WhatsApp e o Facebook Messenger”, garantindo sempre medidas de segurança que protegem a privacidade e os dados pessoais dos Clientes.
Com uma estratégia bem definida, o Millennium bim fornece aos Clientes privados, corporativos e institucionais produtos e serviços financeiros de topo, através de contas especializadas e benefícios específicos, nomeadamente para as mulheres e o tecido empresarial nacional. Desde 2015 que o Banco disponibiliza uma oferta integrada de produtos e serviços com o objectivo de apoiar as PME em áreas tão importantes como a gestão corrente, o apoio ao investimento e o apoio ao comércio internacional, fundamental para o aumento das exportações.
Para José Reino da Costa, PCE do Millennium bim, este prémio “baseia-se na excelência do Banco, inovador e comprometido com o sucesso”, realçando “o papel primordial dos Colaboradores e de todas as equipas do Millennium bim que desenvolvem produtos inovadores e prestam serviços de qualidade adaptados às necessidades de cada Cliente”. O mesmo responsável diz-se “orgulhoso de mais este prémio” que dedica a todos os Colaboradores do Banco.
