O ISUTC – Instituto Superior de Transportes e Comunicações realizou, este sábado, em Maputo, a sua 8ª Cerimónia de Graduação. O evento de formatura destinou-se a um total de 350 alunos que concluíram, com sucesso, os seus cursos das áreas das engenharias e gestão.
A cerimónia, que acolheu o maior número de graduados, já realizado pela instituição, contou com a presença de cerca de 700 familiares e amigos dos estudantes, bem como 150 convidados do ISUTC e da Transcom, entre colaboradores, docentes e outras entidades, que apoiaram o instituto ao longo desta caminhada que enfrentou, pelo meio, uma pandemia.
O Instituto tem registado um enorme crescimento, tendo vindo a ser procurado por cada vez mais jovens que pretendem ingressar numa instituição de ensino superior que lhes garanta uma formação de qualidade e uma melhor preparação para enfrentarem o mercado do trabalho. “A taxa de empregabilidade após a finalização do curso é de cerca de 90%, o que mostra que as empresas e organizações têm vindo a reconhecer a qualidade de excelência do ensino do ISUTC.”, referiu durante a cerimónia o professor doutor Fernando Leite, reitor do ISUTC.
“O ISUTC pauta-se pelo respeito e pela ética pedagógica. Somos uma instituição comprometida com os nossos alunos e formandos. Apostamos numa formação académica de elevada qualidade. E privilegiamos o conhecimento, a investigação científica, e o intercâmbio científico, tecnológico e cultural com outras instituições nacionais e internacionais”, reforçou ainda o mesmo responsável.
Ao longo da cerimónia, foram premiados os melhores alunos de cada curso, sendo que a maioria dos premiados foram jovens mulheres. O Instituto tem vindo a frisar a importância da igualdade e equidade de género, mostrando que os cursos de engenharia não se destinam apenas a homens.
Tásia Chissano, representante do grupo dos alunos graduados do ISUTC, afirmou que a cerimónia de graduação representa um marco importante na vida de todos os estudantes. “Hoje é um dia para agradecer a todos aqueles que participaram na nossa caminhada até chegarmos a este dia. Hoje despedimo-nos com a sensação de dever cumprido. O nosso muito obrigado à instituição, aos nossos professores e encarregados de educação”, realçou.
Numa cerimónia bastante emotiva, os alunos graduados foram ainda surpreendidos pelo conhecido cantor moçambicano Stewart Sukuma, que homenageou este marco importante da vida dos recém-licenciados.
O ISUTC, instituição de ensino superior com mais de 20 anos, foi criado pela Transcom SA, em 1999, sendo frequentado atualmente por cerca de 2 mil estudantes. Com um corpo docente composto por um total de 197 académicos tem vindo a investir na criação de melhores condições de ensino-aprendizagem-avaliação, apostando na inovação e na tecnologia para a modernização de todo o seu processo de ensino.
Para além das licenciaturas nas diferentes áreas das engenharias e gestão, o ISUTC ministra ainda cursos de curta duração para executivos e desenhados de acordo com as necessidades do mercado e das empresas. O Instituto prepara-se ainda para lançar, em 2023, duas novas licenciaturas (Engenharia Electromecânica e Engenharia Ambiental) e um mestrado em Gestão.
