O FUNAE e o Grupo JFS lançaram, nesta quarta-feira, 22 de Dezembro de 2021, em Cuamba, província do Niassa, o projecto “Ilumina Saúde”, o qual prevê a electrificação de dois Postos Administrativos na Província de Niassa e de dez Centros de Saúde nas Províncias de Nampula e de Niassa.
O projecto “Ilumina Saúde”, cujo Memorando de Entendimento foi rubricado por António Saíde, PCA do FUNAE, e por Manuel Delgado, Administrador Delegado da empresa algodoeira do Grupo JFS, vai beneficiar mais de 2000 famílias.
O projecto “Ilumina Saúde” resulta da parceria público-privada entre o FUNAE e o Grupo JFS, cujo o objectivo é melhorar a qualidade de vida e o desenvolvimento comunitário rural integrado do País, ao serviço de mais de 2000 famílias.
Orçado em cerca de 116 milhões de meticais, o projecto insere-se na iniciativa do Governo de Moçambique para o Quinquénio 2020-24, a qual visa electrificar todas as sedes dos Postos Administrativos, e ainda no Programa Nacional de Saúde enquadrado nas directivas das Nações Unidas. Tais directivas indicam a necessidade de electrificar os centros de saúde nas zonas rurais para uma resposta mais pronta e próxima às necessidades da população, incluindo a implementação de campanhas para combate à COVID-19 e outras doenças.
O projecto arranca com a electrificação do Centro de Saúde de Muthaco, no Posto Administrativo de Lúrio, Distrito de Cuamba, prevendo electrificar os Centros de Saúde de Sales, Matarica Lúrio, Malia e Mpamela, na Província de Niassa, e Pinda, Mete, Naquessa e Lúrio (em curso), na Província de Nampula. Prevê ainda a electrificação de duas Sedes nos Postos Administrativos de Gomba e Matondovela, no Distrito de Mecula, Niassa, através da construção de centrais solares capazes de gerar 40 e 60KWp, respectivamente, no decurso da vigência do Memorando de Entendimento entre o FUNAE e o Grupo JFS que é de dois anos.
O projecto “Ilumina Saúde” será executado através de uma sinergia de recursos entre as partes, sob gestão do FUNAE. O Grupo JFS contribuirá com a doação de 320 painéis de 330Wp e com apoio local e logístico, considerando a sua enorme presença na região, onde assiste permanentemente mais de 40 mil agregados familiares na produção agrícola de algodão e de diversas culturas sob o lema “algodão desenvolve”.
Com esta iniciativa, as partes reforçam a sua cooperação, abrindo portas para novos programas de expansão, onde se poderão incluir mini-redes, sistemas solares residenciais, entre outros.
