Os comboios de passageiros que ligam a Estação dos CFM e o terminal de Matola-Gare, no município da Matola, irão terminar no Km-15 durante esta semana, devido a trabalhos de manutenção da ferrovia.
O encurtamento, que se prolonga até sexta-feira -15 de Maio, abrange duas carreiras matinais e três vespertinas, tal como refere nota da empresa Portos e Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique. Assim, a primeira vai partir da Paragem Daniel (Km-15) às 6.03 horas e a segunda às 6.13horas, com previsão de chegada às 6.55 e 7.05 horas, respectivamente.
Já no sentido inverso a partida dos comboios está prevista para o período entre 16.15 e 18.50 horas, com chegada ao Km -15 entre às 16h53 e 9.43 horas, respectivamente.
‘”Cientes da compreensão que esta medida irá merecer por parte dos nossos passageiros, apresentamos os nossos sinceros agradecimentos”, indica o aviso do CFM.
Refira-se que no final de Março a empresa decidiu suspender a circulação dos comboios de passageiros de longo curso, no quadro do reforço das medidas de prevenção da Covid-19.
Trata-se das carreiras que ligam a Estação Central e as vilas de Ressano Garcia, Manhiça e Goba, na província de Maputo, e Chicualacuala, em Gaza.
Assim, a empresa está a operar comboios urbanos com destino a Matola-Gare, Moamba, Boane e Marracuene, com uma lotação máxima de cinquenta passageiros por carruagem.
