Mais de 1 milhão de pessoas em Moçambique usufruem da acção de higienização das mãos promovida pela CDM.
Inserida na sua Responsabilidade Social Corporativa, e de forma a apoiar o país na luta contra a pandemia COVID19, a CDM tem vindo a desenvolver esforços que têm como objectivo dotar a comunidade e as instituições de mecanismos importantes no combate a este vírus.
Desta feita, foi a vez dos vendedores de mercados informais beneficiarem da oferta de máscaras que os protegem, bem como os seus clientes, de gotículas ou aerossóis que estão em suspensão no ar. Assim, foram entregues 4.000 máscaras criadas a partir da capulana +258, uma colecção de capulana criada em 2019 com intuito de valorizar o que é-nos mais intrínseco, a nossa moçambicanidade. As máscaras serão igualmente ofertadas a distribuidores, armazenistas e diversos retalhistas. De forma simbólica, colaboradores da CDM, entregaram, pessoalmente, parte das máscaras aos vendedores de um dos mercados do Distrito da Katembe, e aproveitou-se ainda o momento para demonstrar a forma correcta de higienizar as mãos.
No prosseguimento das várias acções desenvolvidas pela CDM, a comunidade não foi esquecida. Assim, mais de um milhão de moçambicanos, distribuídos por várias cidades do país, irão beneficiar da acção de higienização das mãos, numa acção que decorrerá durante 2 meses.
Estas ofertas juntam-se, assim, a outras acções já implementadas no início da presença da pandemia em Moçambique, como a distribuição de materiais informativos sobre o Estado de Emergência, o cancelamento de anúncios publicitários em TV e a alteração dos conteúdos de outdoors e painéis publicitários das marcas por conteúdos informativos sobre a pandemia realizados em parceria com o Conselho Municipal da Cidade de Maputo – CMCM.
Segundo Hugo Gomes, Administrador da Cervejas de Moçambique “Mais do que nunca, neste momento absolutamente ímpar e de futuro incógnito, é que as grandes corporações têm de aparecer a dar a cara e proactivamente ajudarem o Governo a mitigar os prováveis impactos de flagelos como o Covid-19, só assim é que mais rapidamente poderemos sair da presente situação e retornarmos o curso normal das nossas vidas e dos nossos negócios”, destacou Gomes, referindo-se as diversas acções e doações que têm vindo a decorrer e que continuarão a promover.
