Capitalização bolsista deve atingir 21% do PIB
A Bolsa de Valores de Moçambique decidiu se posicionar estrategicamente. Por isso, no plano 2017-2021 a instituição pretende, entre outros elementos, aumentar a capitalização com a entrada das grandes empresas, que ainda resistem em admitir-se na BVM.
Apresentação do Plano Estratégico 2017-2021 da Bolsa de Valores de Moçambique
A Bolsa de Valores de Moçambique (BVM) já lançou o seu o Plano Estratégico 2017- 2021. Apresentado, recentemente, em Maputo, perante gestores de empresas públicas e privadas, bem como de instituições reguladoras, o documento tem como objectivo fundamental a atracção do maior número de empresas, economicamente saudáveis, oferecer melhores alternativas de investimento ao sector público, bem como robustecer o sistema fi nanceiro e o desenvolvimento da economia moçambicana.
O Presidente do Conselho de Administração (PCA) da BVM, Salim Valá, revela que entre outras acções que serão implementadas, à luz do presente plano, há que destacar a “introdução de novos produtos financeiros na bolsa; implementação de mecanismos inovadores de desenvolvimento de mercado; expansão do programa e educação financeira e a disponibilização de simuladores de bolsa e oferecer módulos de aprendizagem individual no website da bolsa”.
Por isso, entre 2017 e 2021, a BVM espera impulsionar a emissão de títulos e atingir uma capitalização bolsista, em relação ao Produto Interno Bruto (PIB), de 21%, contra os actuais 8%. A BVM espera, igualmente, alavancar o volume de negócios anual e impulsionar a liquidez no mercado secundário em 8%.
É que, “o volume de negócios em Moçambique está aquém dos seus pares”. Por isso, “a aquisição de um novo sistema de negociação, bem como o incremento da disponibilidade de informação sobre o mercado, aumentando o interesse dos investidores, poderá resultar no crescimento do volume de negócios na bolsa”, segundo o Plano Estratégico 2017-2021.
Ainda de acordo com o documento, outras metas a ter em conta são o impulsionamento das emissões do Governo em 10%, em relação ao PIB, e a melhoria dos níveis de educação financeira e expandir o número de contas títulos em até 15 vezes.
ALIENAÇÃO DE 7.5% DA HCB IMPULSIONA A BVM
Salim Valá usou a ocasião para falar do mais recente anúncio do Presidente da República, Filipe Nyusi, da alienação de 7.5% das acções da Hidroeléctrica de Cahora Bassa (HCB) através da Bolsa de Valores de Moçambique. Valá diz que a decisão vai funcionar como um factor galvanizador do mercado de capitais em Moçambique, quebrando a relutância que muitas empresas, de grande porte, ainda tem em admitir-se na Bolsa de Valores. Por isso, segundo Valá, o posicionamento estratégico da BVM pretende “convidar as grandes empresas a operar em Moçambique a cortar-se na bolsa, em particular as concessões empresariais, as empresas de telefonia móvel, as instituições fi nanceiras, as seguradoras, entre outras” concluiu.
