A GirlMOVE Academy (GMA), é uma Academia de Liderança de Base que cria modelos inovadores de educação para ampliar o talento, aumentar a igualdade de género e promover a transformação sustentável. Para o efeito, a GMA, abriu, recentemente, até 15 de Outubro, as candidaturas para mulheres moçambicanas licenciadas ou finalistas ao programa de sucesso CHANGE, uma iniciativa que, através de mentoria, laboratórios de inovação e experiência internacional, visa descobrir o potencial de liderança na mulher para gerar mudança que agrega valor à sociedade.
Trata-se de uma experiência intensa de 1 ano, desenhada para que cada participante encontre o seu gigantesco potencial. Através da metodologia inovadora de mentoria e de sisterhood circles deste programa, a GMA dá anualmente a oportunidade a cerca de 30 jovens mulheres moçambicanas de descobrirem a líder que reside nelas. Dá, igualmente, a oportunidade de perceberem por si que a mudança faz-se de dentro para fora e que elas podem ser um exemplo para Moçambique e para o mundo. https://www.girlmove.org/pt/programa-change/
O objectivo do programa CHANGE, perspectiva ultrapassar 2000 candidaturas de jovens moçambicanas graduadas ou finalistas universitárias, com idades compreendidas entre 20 e 28 anos, sobretudo para ampliar as possibilidades de selecção, está assente nos desígnios da GMA activar na mulher o poder de ser agente de mudança, através do investimento na habilitação e na descoberta individual de cada mulher que se torna parte integrante desta iniciativa.
Mencione-se que, actualmente 16% da população mundial é composta por jovens entre os 15 e 24 anos, configurando um total de 1,2 mil milhões de pessoas. As projecções apontam para um crescimento que atinja 1,3 mil milhões até 2030, o que pressupões a necessidade de criar mais 475 milhões de novos empregos para os 73 milhões de jovens que estão actualmente desempregados, contando com os 40 milhões que entram todos os anos no mercado de trabalho. Estes números representam um desmesurado desafio, mas também uma grandíssima oportunidade para criarmos espaços e experiências onde uma carreira de impacto é a opção certa. É, na verdade, uma forma de combatermos os problemas sociais, económicos, políticos e ambientais que grassam o país e o mundo.
No entanto, em 2014, 46,1% da população moçambicana era composta por jovens, sendo 24,1% do sexo feminino. Considerando o facto de ser inegável o potencial de transformação que as jovens mulheres têm para o país, a GMA investe toda a sua actuação a contribuir para a capacitação desta percentagem de jovens mulheres.
Para Rita Megre, Diretora da GirlMOVE Academy, “com este programa as jovens mulheres vão construir confiança, força e aptidão para fazerem acontecer as mudanças que querem ver no mundo.
